Futures
Making important decisions about their future is an integral part of all students’ post 16 education, therefore at Thomas Hardye sixth form all students benefit from a full two year FUTURES programme.
We are proud that students from the Thomas Hardye Sixth Form follow a wide range of pathways. Whatever their preference all are supported by their tutor and a dedicated sixth form team, receiving individual advice and guidance from expert staff and visiting speakers. We also have strong links with our alumni to act as advisers and to share their experiences.
In the videos below, Mr Ayre and Mrs Campbell outline the factors to consider when choosing a Higher Education course or an apprenticeship pathway.
The FUTURES programme consists of varied events and support including employment workshops, clear guidance on applications, personal statement and CV writing, work experience, practice interviews and subject specific support about HE courses.
In the videos below, Miss Tinsley offers advice to those struggling to make a decision about their future pathway and Cardiff University provide a comprehensive introduction to Student Finance.
