The Sixth Form Team recently held an open evening for prospective students for the 2024 intake. The event, held on 19th October welcomed Year 11 students from over 20 different schools. The evening was a great opportunity to meet staff and students, see what subjects are on offer, and get a taste of the wide range of enrichment activities available.
If you were unable to attend the open evening, then please email email@example.com for more information. Applicants from new schools will have two further opportunities to visit the school this year: first for their Information and Guidance Meeting and for a Taster Day following their GCSE examinations.
The application site is now live and we are accepting applications for September 2024. If you registered for the open evening then we have resent the welcome email with the link to your application. If you have not received this then please email firstname.lastname@example.org or alternatively you can just start a new online application.
If we asked you to register on arrival at the open evening (external applicants only) then we have sent you an email with the link to your application. If you have not received this then please email email@example.com or alternatively you can just start a new online application.
If you are starting a new application, then please note that our system is not currently able to automatically send out emails when you register to start your application. We will aim to manually send out an email with further instructions and links to your application the following morning (workdays only).
Please note that we are starting our winter break from Friday 15th December and return to school on Tuesday 2nd January. We will respond to emails once back in school.
Students are reminded that their course selection can be amended after their application is submitted by discussing it with a member of the sixth form team. All new students will have a meeting to discuss their application and ensure they are choosing the best combination of courses for them and Thomas Hardye students will initially have this discussion with their tutor. Course selection will be also be discussed on enrolment day next September and any changes that are being made in light of examination results.
The Thomas Hardye School is an Outstanding School (OFSTED 2015). We work hard with all our students to ensure that they achieve their own goals. We are really excited to show you our school and for you to be part of our future.
